   As a Guest Services Intern with ASM Global at Barclays Center, I supported and observed the execution of a wide range of live events including New York Liberty games, the 2025 NBA Draft, concerts, and HS/College graduations. This role combined hands-on event support with shadowing opportunities, allowing me to gain a well-rounded understanding of large-scale venue operations and guest experience strategies.Key Responsibilities & Learning Experiences- Participated in intern training and development programs (Brooklyn Way Training, Media Unveiled, Hospitality Unveiled)- Collaboration across departments (Security, Box Office, Operations, Event Services) to deliver a seamless and safe guest experience- Assisted with pre-event prep and observed post-event breakdowns to understand the full event cycle- Shadowed Guest Services managers and supervisors during large-scale events to understand venue operations, crowd management, and guest engagement protocols- Worked across multiple event types, quickly adapting to different audience needs and security procedures.Completed Projects- Presented department impact to BSE executives as part of the Summer Intern Showcase- Co-authored a comprehensive onboarding guide to help future Guest Services interns navigate Barclays Center operations effectively- Created a visual guide to assist staff with identifying legitimate mobile tickets and passes; detailing which spaces each ticket/pass provides access to- Reviewed and refreshed internal newsletter design using Canva and Photoshop- Creating Guest Services specific Event Briefing Sheets for concerts, games and graduations.
