About Susan Colby
After years of founding, leading, and consulting to social sector organizations, Susan is leveraging her experience to coach and support the development of extraordinary leaders working to create a more socially and economically just world. Susan is the Co-founder of Imagine Worldwide and served as the founding CEO. Prior to founding Imagine, she was a partner at McKinsey & Company, and led the education practice. Susan also was a founding partner of the Bridgespan Group and opened and led the San Francisco office. She has served as the CEO at Stupski Foundation and also has developed and led sustainable agriculture businesses throughout the world. She is a fellow of the inaugural cohort of Pahara-Aspen Education Leaders and a Rainer Arnhold (Mulago) Fellow. She is a Lecturer at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Graduate School of Education. Susan earned a BA from American University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
