1. Claims Specialist - Fire Company Weather & Catastrophe

   State Farm

   May 2015 — Present

   Work in a high volume claims department at State Farm. While maintaining my assigned claims I also assist throughout the day with incoming calls from all parties involved in each claim. Work to resolve issues on these claims, while reviewing the claim for the first time. Many times I need to learn to quickly resolve issues/disputes during these conversations. I have an ability to remain calm and keep my composure. Work with customers, contractors, public adjusters, agents and staff members to move claims from the beginning to it\'s closure. I meet operational objectives by prioritizing competing daily responsibilities and maintaining a strong customer focus. Putting processes in place but also adapt and adjust to constant changing priorities, I maintain a strong customer focus by providing remarkable service to each party involved in the loss. I possess a sincere interest in helping others; my process begins by being an active listener and identifying my customer\'s needs.
