RECOVERY COMPANIONSHIP: Building upon more than three decades of success in the nonprofit sector, coupled with my lived experiences with mental illness and addiction, I serve as an invaluable support to those navigating recovery.Whether you are struggling at work, at school, or in your personal life, I can help you get through it. I\'ve been there and I know what it\'s like. With age comes wisdom. I particularly enjoy working with senior level executives and their families.As a Therapeutic Recovery Companion (AKA a \'Sober Companion\' or \'Sober Coach,\') I provide a sense of safety or stability during recovery. I do not control your actions or dictate your schedule. Rather, I coach you through your day-to-day responsibilities and help you stay accountable for your actions.While each person\'s journey is different, you may be a good candidate if you\'re: Transitioning out of residential treatment Unable to participate in a residential program due to work or personal responsibilities Temporarily traveling and away from your usual support system In an unstable stage of life like a career shift or location change Attending an event with known triggers Participating in other treatment during the day (like intensive outpatient programming or therapy) but could benefit from more support at other times of dayI also facilitate safe transports, inclusive of coordinating travel logistics.
