As Chief Member Officer for First West Credit Union, I am responsible for leading the retail, business and commercial banking, wealth management, and general insurance for all of First West’s local market brands: Envision Financial, Valley First, Enderby & District Financial and Island Savings as well as provide oversight for First West Capital. During a 25-plus year career, I have grown market share by providing differentiated advisory services to commercial clients, small business owners, and retail banking customers and members in progressively senior leadership roles in both large and community-based financial services organizations. A champion of First West’s social vision to “lead well”, I am a dedicated community leader and currently serve on the board of directors for the Canadian Cancer Society. I am particularly proud of my contribution as board chair of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and ministry-appointed board of governor for Vancouver Community College and what was accomplished with those organisations during the time I was involved.
