As a seasoned business professional with progressive leadership experience in a variety of organizations (professional services, technology start-up, corporate and non-profit), I drive quantifiable value to improve operations and customer support. Appointed as a 40 Under 40 Honoree from CPA Practice Advisor, and a Technology Advisory Standing Ovation recipient, I strive to be a leader who improves our communities and the future of our profession.I work at Dayforce as a Vice President leading a large team of over 300 professionals. I’m responsible for overseeing tax operations, including tax filings, notices, amendments, client implementations, production support, professional services, and risk mitigation. My team is responsible for supporting clients with tax compliance across tax jurisdictions. I’m passionate about utilizing technology and AI to drive efficiency and improved customer services. Prior to joining Dayforce, I regularly published guidance on tax and financial issues and was quoted in media sources such as The New York Times, CNN, Forbes, and CNBC. I advocated for taxpayers and the public interest by providing suggestions for improvements to tax agencies. I also served as a lead product manager for a start-up software development company that helped tax practitioners efficiently deal with IRS tax controversy issues and I worked many years providing tax and advisory services to individuals and businesses. I’m a founding member of Guilford (Greensboro) Women for Good where I work to foster more kindness and generosity in my community. I hold a Master of Science in Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a Minor in Philosophy. I reside in North Carolina with my husband Andy, son Henry, and daughter Madelyn.
