Tell your Story to Influence Others” at the Working Mother Media Multicultural Women’s Summit. That workshop gave birth to this book and the expansion of that presentation.The same year, I was invited to become a SheSource Expert at Women’s Media Center (WMC), a progressive, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded by Jane Fonda, Robin Morgan, and Gloria Steinem to raise the visibility, viability, and decision-making power of women and girls in media and, thereby, ensuring that their stories get told, and their voices are heard.
