Responsible for the preparation of capital and operating budget reports and coding account payable invoices to ensure correct accounting classification. Developed procurement work flow processes to expedite the purchasing function and ensure appropriate inventory levels. Tracked vendor, contractor and sub-subcontractor performance. Monitored and ensured request for proposals and requests for bids were prepared and advertised in compliance with Florida Power and Light’s policies and federal regulations. Conducted bid openings, reviews and analyzed bid proposals. Prepared and submitted written recommendations for contract awards.
