Serving families and children birth-three years of age who may qualify for Special Education Early Start Intervention through the SRVUSD Infant and Toddler Early Start Program-Providing play-based assessments, service coordination, and speech-language therapy-Working with a team of professionals including Speech-Language Pathologists, Early Intervention Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists-Partnering with parents to establish goals for Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP)-Providing support, training and education to families whose children may have delays in the areas of communication. cognition, fine motor, gross motor, or social emotional-Caseload includes children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as children with hearing impairment or sensory needs-Conducting preschool assessments as a member of the SRVUSD Preschool Assessment Team with a multidisciplinary team to determine eligibility for special education services for preschool aged children-Supervised Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
