Addressing zoonotic concerns from wildlife-derived food consumption in the Inuit community in Nunavik by carrying out molecular diagnostic laboratory operations at the Nunavik Research Center, Kuujjuaq.• Applying molecular and pathology-related diagnostic tools such as qPCR, PCR, genome sequencing, and so forth for disease diagnosis in wildlife samples collected by Anguvigaq.• Carrying out genomic wildlife diversity analysis in Arctic wildlife species.• Collaborating with the local indigenous and federal organizations to help contribute to the broader goal of developing a self-sustaining wildlife disease surveillance system in the Nunavik region. • Developing projects in wildlife disease studies based on the concerns and questions raised by the Inuit communities of the Nunavik region.
