ABOUT SUSAN PADRINO
Physician leader at the intersection of medicine, psychiatry, and system transformation. I build and scale integrated behavioral health models that measurably improve outcomes for complex, underserved populations. As Senior Medical Director of Integrated Psychiatry at a national value-based care organization, I lead strategy, implementation, and clinical transformation across primary care, specialty care, and community settings. My work includes launching Ohio’s first Medicine-Psychiatry Unit, opening new high-impact care centers, and advancing collaborative care and Med-Psych models nationally.Trained in both Internal Medicine and Psychiatry, I bring a whole-person, systems-level lens to clinical care, education, and leadership. I have led organizations through accreditation, curriculum reform, care redesign, and culture change, always with an eye toward the Quadruple Aim: better outcomes, better experience, better equity, and sustainable teams.I thrive in spaces where complexity meets opportunity—leading diverse teams, aligning strategy with clinical reality, and translating innovation into care models that last. My work centers on building systems that support both patients and the people delivering care.
