ABOUT SUSAN MONTY

Susan specialises in complex commercial litigation and civil fraud. She is currently working in the academic world, lecturing in her speciality and more generally in Law.Susan previously worked for many years in private practice, in the area of financial litigation and complex commercial disputes, from companies investigating internal fraud, group claims against an unfair majority shareholder, charity commission investigations and an individual directors facing FCA or SFO proceedings. With over 20 years\' experience including head of Civil Fraud and Financial investigations in City law firms and senior positions at the Financial Reporting Council and the Serious Fraud Office, Susan has advised on effective strategies in both civil and criminal fraud, particularly the cross-over of civil litigation with criminal or regulatory investigations.Susan\'s clients have included PLCs, small companies, international charities, company directors and sports celebrities.Susan has written widely on current topics across the civil and criminal fraud arenas.
