About Susan Maurer

I have been fortunate to work at some premier companies with outstanding leadership and training. From promotional marketing at Kraft Heinz to agency experiences at Ryan Partnership and Catapult Marketing, I learned creativity, strategy and the importance of agility in the marketing world. Now, in my 12th year at Vericast, I’ve gone from a client strategy role for industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecom and Healthcare, to my latest position in brand marketing. I love brand marketing. I am really enjoying the challenge of taking a new brand personality and message, and threading it through every inch of communication, from sales materials to website to social media. The interaction with so many cross functional partners keeps me energized and motivated daily. I am a strategist, an educator and a project leader all in one. But the part of this position that is so appealing to me is the storytelling aspect. I\'m passionate about writing, and have written industry pieces, as well as worked as a freelance writer for local magazines. My latest passion is as a college essay writing coach for students, assisting them in creating engaging personal statements and supplemental essay responses for their applications. Above all, I enjoy work, and think a good day is a productive day. I am grateful for collaborative teams and hard-fought wins. And I am energized by ideas, creativity and those who are curious. Also, I\'m an ENJF so I\'ll never miss a deadline.
