About Susan L. Marshall
After a rewarding career as a high school counselor and educational leader, I founded my practice as an Independent College Admissions Counselor. I partner with students and families to navigate high school with intention and clarity, helping them prepare for life beyond graduation while reducing the stress and anxiety often associated with the college admissions process. In October 2024, I published The Life of the School Counselor & the Call for Change in Public Education, offering insight into the evolving role of school counselors within the context of today’s youth mental health crisis and the broader challenges facing public education. The book also serves as a resource for parents navigating the complexity of the high school years.I also serve as a Restorative Practices Trainer and Consultant, supporting organizations in building stronger relationships and addressing conflict through dialogue, empathy, and accountability. Through training in restorative tools such as community circles and conferencing, I help create healthier work and learning environments and strengthen organizational culture.
