What’s truer than truth? The story. As a clinical psychologist for over two decades, I have been witness to the profound tales of individuals navigating challenges, dreams, and moments of introspection. Through my clinical practice and executive coaching, I\'ve delved deep into the minds of children, adults, couples, and leaders seeking avenues for mental well being as well as personal and professional growth, via their own stories. Yet, it\'s not just about the individual. The nuances I’ve gleaned from my one-on-one interactions echo in the broader roles I\'ve played across diverse sectors – from juvenile justice to private equity to digital healthcare. I bridge personal stories with systemic change, enabling leaders to harness their self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and unique narratives to leave indelible marks on their leadership paths. My own story, born from the hopes of immigrant parents, has made me acutely aware of the profound role culture and diversity play in our identities. The vibrant tapestry of my experiences has strengthened my commitment to championing women and BIPOC leaders, addressing the critical race and gender equity gaps that persist in our workplaces. Since time immemorial, we’ve learned about each other through stories. That’s why I\'m immensely proud to helm the Board of Directors at 826LA, a non-profit dedicated to supporting students with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Because at the heart of it all, it’s the stories that make us who we are, guide where we go, and inspire where we aim to be.
