About Susan Hooker
With over 14 years of experience in higher education, I am the Associate Dean of Community and Workforce Education at Central Community College. I lead a team of professionals who develop, implement, and market business and industry training and economic development activities for the region. I hold a certificate in fundraising management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a bachelor\'s degree in business administration, and a master\'s degree in management from Bellevue University.My mission is to build and maintain networks and partnerships with various stakeholders, including public/private agencies, educational institutions, businesses, and industry, to provide educational workshops and conferences that enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce and the community. I have successfully managed and administered multiple grants, such as an EPA Superfund Job Training Grant and a University of Nebraska Lincoln-based Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center for Nebraska. I am also a certified facilitator of Real Colors and a trained instructor of The Bob Pike Group\'s instructional design and train-the-trainer programs.
