About Susan Hartman

Susan Hartman specializes in forensic accounting investigations and litigation support and valuation engagements, including significant testifying experience in state and federal proceedings. She has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting and has worked with many of the world\'s leading law firms. Prior to joining FTI, Ms. Hartman worked as a Partner at the BVA Group. Prior to that, she founded her own firm. Ms. Hartman also spent nine years working for AlixPartners, a global consulting firm, in both the New York City and Dallas offices. While at AlixPartners, Ms. Hartman focused on valuation assignments and forensic accounting investigations. Before joining AlixPartners, Ms. Hartman worked at two publicly traded companies, the Interpublic Group and Doubleclick Inc, managing mergers and acquisitions activities for those firms. While at Doubleclick, she successfully led the sale of that company for $1.1 billion to private equity firm Hellman and Friedman. Ms. Hartman was also the CFO and Controller of a venture backed company and an investment banker at Lehman Brothers. Ms. Hartman has managed engagements in over 20 countries in Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa. While working for the Interpublic Group, Ms. Hartman lived and worked for two years in Frankfurt, Germany managing the company\'s international mergers and acquisitions activities. She speaks conversational Spanish and French. Ms. Hartman has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Tulane University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Public Accountant* and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
