ABOUT SUSAN E. HANKS MARSCELLAS

A native Southern Californian, Susan Hanks Marscellas received her B.A. degree in Communications at Chapman University with an emphasis in public relations. She earned her M.A. degree in Leadership at Saint Mary\'s College of California in Moraga, CA. She has worked in the entertainment industry. For example, Marscellas served as a publicity coordinator for Hollywood personalities, assisted with talent coordination for Disney Channel special programs, and worked on Dick Clark\'s Academy of Country Music Awards, The Grammy Awards and many other special events. She worked in the sales and marketing division for a major Southern California developer. Marscellas was recruited to join Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System in 1990 to join the marketing and public relations department. Since that time SVMHS has won numerous awards for communication, including gold and silver \"Telly awards for excellence in television advertising. She created effected marketing campaigns with her design team that put SVMHS service lines on the map. Marscellas created a high level creative and talented marketing and public relations department who created leading edge healthcare marketing. Ask anyone who has worked with Susan Marscellas and they will tell you she is truly a creative visionary. Marscellas is an accomplished photographer and videographer, Marscellas has captured images throughout the world, including, China, Japan, Mexico, Canada, UK, Tibet, Africa (Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda), Cuba, Peru, Romania, Hungary, Kosrae/Micronesia and of course, extensively throughout the United States Specialties: Marketing, Creative Director, Art Director, Networking, Creating Partnerships, Community Relations, Media Relations, Public Relations, Leadership, Creative, Visionary, Teamwork, Event Planning, Social Media.
