I provide expert advice, analysis and design on fire safety engineering for the built environment; I specialise in the development and delivery of industrially focused research and innovation to enable the fire safety development of new technologies. I am an experienced Chartered Engineer with over 10 years years consulting engineering experience in a wide range of sectors. I am skilled in all aspects of engineering design, including concept and detail design, acting as client advisor through construction and advising on fire safety management and risk assessment. I have extensive experience in the provision of expert witness services; applying my fire safety engineering expertise to help my clients resolve complex construction issues. In 2018 I received the Karen Burt Memorial Award for best newly chartered female engineer from the Women\'s Engineering Society. I hold a Doctorate Degree (PhD) focused on the performance of concrete structures under realistic fire conditions from the University of Edinburgh.
