About Susan Decker

Susan Decker serves as a senior governance consultant to nonprofit charities and professional associations. She serves as lead faculty for BoardSource, a Washington, D.C. based organization that believes boards are critical to organizational success. She also served as the Director of the Master of Leadership Development program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College for nearly a decade. Susan has extensive experience in nonprofit governance, management and fundraising at the national and local level. She conducts training and consulting on nonprofit board governance, fundraising, and leadership for a wide range of nonprofit organizations, and has particular expertise in facilitating board retreats and strategic planning. Previously, Susan served in senior leadership positions at St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
