I became a Realtor in April 1989, and have been with several national franchises. I am exceptionally happy with Preview Properties Skagit (a Realtor office), which consists of a group of experienced professionals with very capable leadership. I specialize in residential real estate, with a strong \"land\" background and a good amount of commercial experience. I have focused on Professional Standards of the Realtor Association, and chaired that committee at both the local and the state levels, promoting adherence to the Realtor Code of Ethics! I served on many committees during this time, including President at the local level, and Treasurer at the state level. I believe in the empowerment of education, and am proud to have achieved the Certified Residential Specialists designation, based on production and education.(Only 4% of agents nationally have achieved this designation.). I have served on the WA State CRS Board of Directors as the Area Rep for at least one, or more, of Skagit, Island, San Juan and Whatcom Counties every year from 2006 until currently. I also hold the Accredited Buyer Representative and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designations. It is totally gratifying to assist the public in one of the largest and most cherished decisions of their lives. I truly delight in acquainting newcomers with the many amenities and beauty of Skagit Valley.
