Assisted students with the Academic transition into college. Met with students both individually and in group advising sessions. Advised first and second year students and assisted with course selection, changing of schedule, course withdrawal and also was a resource to faculty. Worked with students on Academic Probation to help them get back in good standing. Helped students in the development of their four year academic plan and guided them through the major declaration process. Assisted with placement exams and course selection for the college Orientation program. Oversaw collection of Advanced Placement scores. Assisted with evaluation of transfer credits. Coordinated off-campus placement exams and course selection for incoming students. Served as staff advisor to Emmanuel College Political Forum. Also served as co-advisor to the Sophomore Class officers and assisted in the planning for the annual class tradition of Sophomore pinning. Worked closely with various other offices, including Registrar’s, Academic Resource Center and Student Financial Services. Supervised student employees.
