As a Service Specialist Intern, I support the Executive Director in advancing community outreach and event initiatives that strengthen civic engagement and social impact. I help design and coordinate large-scale community events by recruiting volunteers and attendees, managing outreach efforts, and maintaining detailed records of key stakeholders.Through the annual holiday event Operation Santa, which provides gifts and warm meals to deserving families, I have assisted in connecting the Institute with over 30 families and non-profit organizations.Additionally, I assist with content creation, including institutional documents and blog posts, to amplify the Institute’s digital presence and promote its mission of empowering community leadership and advocacy.

A determined and passionate undergraduate student leader pursuing a Bachelor\'s Degree in English, General and Communications, Journalism at Kean University. As an aspiring academic advisor, I aim to provide guidance and support to students as well as give back to my community. I am always in search of new opportunities and experience revolving around student success, copyediting, and non-profit organizations.My dedication to educational excellence has led me to becoming a General Education Mentor, which allows for me to directly work alongside professional staff to ensure a seamless transition into Kean University for incoming freshmen as well as transfers while co-facilitating within the Transition to Kean course. This has also allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills as well as communication, team collaboration, and leadership skills. Through my position as Service Specialist Intern within The Lesniak Institute, I have also deepened my commitment to community service and social impact.
