As the Project and Electrical Superintendent for a fleet of 11 ships, I manage the installation and operation of advanced marine technologies, including scrubbers, selective catalytic reactors (SCR), ballast water management systems (BWMS), and electric propulsion systems with AFE drives. I also assist in new build projects, focusing on automation control systems and all electrical-related aspects.My key responsibilities include: Project Oversight: Managing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and automation controls onboard the fleet. Team Coordination: Leading teams of engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution and timely maintenance.New Build Assistance: Supporting new construction projects by overseeing automation control systems and electrical installations.Shore Assistance: Providing remote support to resolve automation and electrical-related issues onboard. Performance Monitoring: Analysing system performance and identifying areas for operational improvement. Communication: Collaborating with ship management and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timely updates.My focus is on maintaining high operational standards while implementing innovative solutions for a more sustainable maritime future.
