About Suryadeep Choudhury
After completing my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, I pursued an in-plant training program at the Indian Iron and Steel Company (IISCO) under SAIL, gaining firsthand exposure to industrial operations.Upon graduation, I joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as an SAP Basis Consultant, where I had the privilege to collaborate with clients across diverse geographies. In this role, I frequently led cross-functional teams, driving project delivery and optimizing critical SAP landscapes. My experience included working extensively with enterprise solutions such as Run My Jobs (RMJ) and ActiveControl, which were instrumental in ensuring seamless business continuity and system performance. These engagements honed my leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities, while fostering an adaptive mindset in dynamic environments.Motivated to broaden my professional horizons and pivot into a people-centric domain, I pursued a Master’s in Management specializing in Human Resources at NMIMS, Mumbai. My MBA journey was transformative, equipping me with in-depth expertise in talent management, organizational development, and strategic HR practices, alongside significant personal growth.During campus placements, I secured an opportunity with Reliance Industries Limited, a Day Zero recruiter. As a Summer Intern, I contributed to the PeopleFirst team, focusing on HR Operations, analytics dashboards, and workforce optimization. Following a successful internship, I was extended a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) and have since joined Reliance as a full-time HR professional.Currently, I am based at the Reliance Polyester Plant in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, where I specialize in industrial relations, manpower planning, and behavioral competency development. I am passionate about leveraging data-driven HR strategies to drive organizational performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
