Working in the IN Grocery and Food Tech team where our team implements features for warehouse management systems and tools used by associates in Amazon Fresh warehouses Designed and Implemented a feature which shows Zone level data in one of the dashboards which are used by site leads to assess the performance of Amazon associates across the globe Designed and implemented a feature where Amazon Fresh sites will be able to store damaged items in some locations. This feature helped in reduction of wastage of damaged items by allowing them to be retained in the stores and be used for some other purposes like liquidation or helping Amazon sell these at a cheaper price to third party vendors thereby reducing the losses to Amazon Fresh as a whole. Documented all the design changes for both the projects mentioned above and had to have them reviewed and signed off by the partner teams by conducting design reviews before going ahead with the implementation Am part of the Amazon Fresh Warehouse Management System (WMS) migration where we are migrating the WMS which was built using a legacy stack to a WMS which was built with a more contemporary tech stack thereby making it more scalable Resolved a huge part of incoming tickets to our team as a part of on-call rotation
