I balance complex commercial litigation with strategic compliance and risk management counseling. I\'m especially passionate about, and enjoy working with, clients across the consumer products/retail space including leading and emerging cosmetics/skincare, fashion, food and beverage, household products, accessories and recreational goods, consumer focused tech and e-commerce businesses and brands, and related suppliers, manufacturers, trade associations, and advertising/publishing entities. As a litigator, I focus on false advertising, unfair competition, products liability, consumer protection, fraud, contract, and tort lawsuits in state and federal courts, as well as handling demands, competitor challenges, arbitrations, and government enforcement/investigative actions. I have a strong record of tackling all stages of the litigation process and collaborating with colleagues, client personnel, and experts to meet each client\'s goals—whether that means negotiating early stage resolutions, zealous trial advocacy, or anything in between. As an advisor, I provide strategic counseling related to a variety of issues, including: product labeling and claims accuracy and substantiation; sustainability initiatives, green claims, and other ESG issues; endorsements and reviews; auto-renewal, subscription, and other pricing issues; in-store and online accessibility; and keeping ahead of new legal and policy developments.
