Support the development and implementation of strategic objectives for H&S across the Harbro Group with the view to creating a strong H&S culture. •Provide general H&S technical guidance and support to all functions and sites. •Support the plan to train and develop the H&S capabilities across the business •Maintain and develop the H&S Management System with active participation from all Group wide stakeholders. •Develop and maintain a reliable means of monitoring and assessing organisational compliance to statutory requirements across the business and report on extent of compliance. •To assist sites in the delivery of suitable contractor management arrangements for high risk activities, or larger project implementation. •To deliver on-site and in-person support and monitoring for all sites in the Group. •To assess developments in H&S legislation and best practise and incorporate into Harbro’s management systems. •To aid in the delivery of the Occupational Health provision, including the referral of staff for occupational health concern. •To develop and produce H&S management information in a timely, accurate and understandable manner to management. •To assist in the generation of specifications and selection of H&S resources such as PPE supply, compliance services and training provision.•To support and deputise for the Head of H&S as necessary.
