Conduct research in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism under Dr. Krishna Prasadan and Dr. George Gittes using a variety of molecular biology and computational techniques. Developed Scanpy-based pipelines to analyze Human Pancreas Analysis Program (HPAP) scRNA-seq data and identify lysosome-associated transcriptional changes between healthy and diabetic donors. Designed and executed original experiment investigating how high glucose levels induce Wnt5a transcription in pancreatic β-cells through NF-κB, FOXA2, and TGF-β signaling pathways.
