In Charge of Electrical activities for DP3 & DP2 vessels.• Looking after electrical and instrumentation functions such as cable tray routing, cable lying, glanding & termination of cables, and commissioning.• Played key role in the installation & commissioning of electrical and instrumentation job.• Ensuring that the new building services are operated in an efficient way, according to approved budgets.• Ensure that the projects are performed in accordance with the contractual agreement to the satisfaction of the clients• Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the governing quality documentation of international shipbuilding practices and normal vessel type operational requirements. • Ensuring familiarity with the Shipbuilding specification including referenced Standards, Regulations, and Rules• Monitoring the fabrication procedures at shipyard and at subcontractor’s premises.• Wherever there is scope for improving arrangements of proposed plans by the shipyard, remarks shall be noted and reported for conveying to the shipyard in consultation with Owner in a standard format provided by client.• Material specification control and ensuring compliance with all agreed specifications and performance standards.• Attend all inspections, check of all equipment and systems to ensure conformity with the specification.• Ensuring Cost controls, assurance that materials and monthly tracking reports are submitted as required by specification, and verification/certification of progress payments• Coordination and verification and closing out of defects noted by Site team members• Coordination and liaison with shipyard and Owners regards delivery protocols, certification and flag state inspections.• Prepare and transmit monthly and daily inspection reports as case may require.
