My responsibilities are:• Medical/Clinical expert for the clinical study team• Medical Monitoring of multiple clinical trials, including being Lead Medical Monitor on a Phase 2 study• Study protocol development for Proof of Concept (POC) clinical trials of novel assets• Selection of the right patient population to maximize success probability of POC trial• Biomarker plan development (as part of study endpoints)• Reviewing and providing feedback on study Statistical Analyses Plan (SAP)• Monitoring clinical trial performance in terms of enrollment and quality aspects, and where appropriate, devising remedial plans for course-correction• Performing clinical trial analytics on an ongoing basis and presenting high-level summary/key insights to Clin Dev senior leadership• Developing content and agenda for and presenting at investigator meetings and advisory board meetings• Performing preparatory work and presenting at Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC) meetings• Representing Clinical Development in the preparation and drafting of regulatory documents, including crafting response letters to questions/feedback from regulatory authorities on study design and protocol

ABOUT SURISH P.
I obtained my medical degree from the University of Glasgow, UK. I also hold a Master’s degree in Drug Discovery & Protein Biotechnology from the University of Edinburgh, UK and a Master of Medical Science in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical School.I am double board (UK & ESMO) certified in Medical Oncology with a keen interest in Oncology Drug Discovery and Clinical Development. Besides clinical practice, I have also spent around 6 years working in industry as a pharmaceutical physician, specifically on GU and GI oncology as well as leukemia. I have also recently completed a Master\'s degree focused on cancer clinical and translational research at Harvard Medical School and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. My specific areas of research interests and expertise are DNA Damage Repair (DDR) Defects/Synthetic Lethality, Antibody Drug Conjugates and Immuno-Oncology, and critically, the intersection of these different areas.My goal as a physician-scientist and cancer researcher is to explore combinations of novel and existing therapeutics with the aim of bringing truly transformative, game-changing cancer therapies and treatment strategies to cancer patients worldwide who are in need of much better treatment options.
