I am a graduate from Northeastern University with a Master’s in Information Systems. I’m a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test with a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for advancing digital solutions in healthcare and sustainability. With over 12 years of experience spanning in the North American Transit system, IoT device development, network management system and medical device industry, I specialize in developing robust automation frameworks that ensure software reliability, regulatory compliance, and seamless user experience.Currently, I work at the intersection of digital health and acute care, driving automation strategy for clinical decision-support tools. I bring expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and API automation, along with a deep understanding of formal verification processes for medical devices. I have experience as a Software Developer. The main product we focus on is the 511 Traveler Information System. This is a IVR(Intelligence Voice Recognition) system which gives traffic updates and other traveler information to the user when dialed 511 from any phone. The platform we develop this on is Javascript/Node.js and use Postgress as the database. I have also worked as Software Engineer Intern for six months at MathWorks and as a Distributed Control Systems(DCS) Manager at Neyveli Corp.My prime focus at MathWorks was on new feature testing and scripting. I had the opportunity to be part of the test and release team for the new MATLAB application that is going to be released. I used that opportunity to learn the nuances in mobile and web testing and to work with the most updated technologies. I have a very good knowledge of software development life cycle and testing processes too.I have done several projects under my Professors here, one of those is a Healthcare website that was completely designed and developed based on web application engineering techniques [Spring-MVC architecture]. I also had the opportunity to learn about new technologies in Big Data where I used map reducing techniques integrating the same with technologies such as Pig, Hive, Mongodb, and Cassandra.I have had exciting opportunities to work with multidisciplinary teams of Master’s, PhD students and working professionals. I am looking to start my next exciting adventure in a challenging and fast-paced work environment where I can use my programming and analytical skills to solve critical technological issues.
