About Suresh Immanuel
As the Schroeder Family Dean of the College of Business and Engineering (CBE) at the University of Evansville, I provide leadership for three academic entities within the College: the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration (nine academic programs), the School of Engineering and Computer Science (seven academic programs), and the Center for Professional and Continuing Education. I also serve as Associate Provost for Academic Partnerships, supporting the University’s global engagement and institutional collaborations.With almost two decades of experience in higher education, my work is guided by a strong commitment to student development, global collaboration, and cross-disciplinary innovation. Throughout my career, I have launched and expanded academic programs that industry seeks, strengthened existing offerings, and aligned curricula with employer expectations and accreditation standards while remaining firmly grounded in the core mission of higher education: empowering students to think critically, lead ethically, and make meaningful contributions to their communities and professions.Whether mentoring future engineers and business leaders, designing and implementing industry-responsive degree programs, advancing faculty development and instructional innovation, expanding international academic partnerships, or working closely with faculty to grow enrollment and elevate program quality, I strive to foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and purpose.My professional experience spans ABET accreditation, faculty development and learning innovation, international agreements across Asia and the Middle East, and strategic academic planning at the intersection of business and STEM.
