Highly motivated and creative scientist to understand the molecular mechanisms of aging and fibrosis. Our research mission is to comprehensively understand molecular and cellular mechanisms of tissue fibrosis including the lung, kidney, and skin. In-depth/extensive knowledge on in vivo models of organ fibrosis. Hands on expertise in the use of epigenomics, transcriptomics and proteomics with a strong focus on drug target identification, validation and optimization. Strong focus on systems biology integration across multimodal datasets and strong understanding of all phases of drug discovery and development to improve healthy aging and and pave the way for transformative therapies that will change lives. 20 years of wet-lab research experience in molecular and cellular biology. Specialized in the area of translational medicine and resulted in contribution of over $10M grant funding. Highly collaborative and result-driven translational medicine expert with track record of peer-reviewed publications (30+) and oral and poster presentations (many) at international conferences. I have led multiple collaborations within academia and between academia and clinical environment to enable project completion.
