As a Facility Manager, I am responsible for the complete housekeeping operation and patient care. This includes planning and executing policies for patient care and quality improvement, as well as supervising patient accommodations. I handle the planning of duty rosters, manpower deployment, training, and daily briefings. I ensure that tasks are completed within the given timeframe, and I also focus on cost efficiency and quality control. In addition, I manage departmental Budgeting and PNL, maintain records on a monthly basis, and plan for new procurement changes within the department. I have knowledge in managing linen and laundry activities, including preparing a project report on the laundry functioning. I also oversee cleaning and fumigation procedures for areas such as OT/ICU/HDU systems, waste management protocols, and environmental management. I prepare preventive care schedules to ensure proper maintenance follow-up. Furthermore, I coordinate for satisfactory stays, handle patient inquiries, and ensure patient satisfaction. I create extra cleaning schedules on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring proper follow-up. I gather feedback from patients/attendants, solve their requests/problems, and provide personalized service to the patients. I have experience in conducting NABH and NABL audits to ensure that all standards are maintained as per SOP of the organization. I am also responsible for making laundry budgets, updating daily laundry operation reports, and maintaining log books for the same, reporting to the Medical Superintendent/Deputy General Manager Administration.
