   IHU Voice Assistant – Amazon Alexa Achievements: • Design scalable voice assistant platform to support multiple voice assistants, achieved cost reduction and faster time-to-market. • Design and developed in-vehicle voice assistant using Amazon Alexa auto SDK and Android AAOS automotive platform. • Design and Implemented voice assistant interactions with IHU domains like Tuner, Telephony, Media Center, and Navigation using android AAOS architecture. • Working with system engineering, UX, product and program management to perform feature design, planning and deliverables. • Working closely with architecture to identify gaps in architectural design, leveraging my years of experience in developing and architecting complex software solutions. • Built and leading a team from technical front, responsible for creating technical roadmap, aligning to current business needs and future market trends. IHU Voice Assistant - Google assistant Achievements: • Integrated Google automotive services and framework on Android Q AAOS platform. • Achieved external USB mic interface with IHU to demonstrate google Assistant on Android Q, lead to early evaluation of performance. IHU Android application - Voice recognition Achievements: • Designed and implemented native speech framework to interface Nuance ASR engine with, IHU Voice recognition application. • Optimized the legacy voice recognition application boot time, achieved boot time reduction of 20+ seconds. IHU Audio framework Achievements: • Design and accomplished reusable audio equalization software module to perform vehicle specific equalization and audio tuning. • Achieved 30% cost reduction by designing platform abstraction layer (PAL) over android HAL layer to interface the tightly coupled proprietary platform from android HAL layer. • Design and Implemented android Vehicle Audio Service for audio function control, source arbitration and audio stream routing.
