Brief of Job description-> Material Planning & Availability as per production plan at factory->Securing the on-site Stock levels to meet the forecasted build plan->Preparation of the master data for the material flow->Coordinating to Program/Production Planning Department to changes in the production plan and ensure capacity planning with Warehouses, Vendors as well as transportation providers->Inventory Management and Warehouse Management->Deliver clear-to-build status, material coverage, run-out reports and other MIS reports as needed->Communication with Vendors for Inventory of models near SOP & EOP->Release RFPs/RFQ and negotiate based on feasibility confirmation & Vendor development->Cost reduction by localization, VA/VE, Annual price reduction, Yield improvement->Implement of reusable packing->Searching and suggesting alternate Vendors for various components->Knowledge of managing returns and rejections promptly with Vendors->Supply planning for seasonal periods and promotional events->Release RFQ/ negotiate based on feasibility confirmation & Vendor development based on projects requirements, responsible for forging and Machining parts commodity->To grasp market situation, calculate part level CIM (cost index manufacturing) data ->To proceed benchmarking activity, update & share information with internal concern members ->Manage, grow and develop team of buyers who are responsible for buying goods and services ->To make cost standard & should be cost for respective commodity->To conduct Vendor assessment & clarify Vendor classification ->Improvement of Vendor QCD performance based on Vendor classification ->Vendor imp development & approval
