Surender is a self-motivated individual with a deep passion towards corporate finance and consulting. He has experience across various domains, including but not limited to capital markets, financial analysis & consulting.He is currently engaged in supporting risk management function for a reputed MNC Bank & has aspirations of becoming a responsible leader in his career.Due to his interest towards management & finance, he pursued MBA at Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Trichy with majors in finance. During this time period, he was a regular participant in management-oriented live projects & workshops to apply skills in a practical context.His summer internship project during MBA was about assessing market for simulated learning in the domain of finance. Apart from application of knowledge gained in finance & marketing concepts during the course, he developed the ability of working as a team & his methodical approach towards work ensured that he accomplished tasks well within the deadlines through this experience.He also completed online courses in his interest areas to enhance the knowledge required for achieving his passion. In addition, he holds a certification in Investment Foundations Program offered by CFA Institute.Prior to enrolling into MBA program, Surender did his under-graduation course in commerce at University of Madras & finished Chartered Accountancy (CA) course up to intermediate level. As a part of the CA course, he got valuable experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm as an audit assistant for 3 years where he handled various audits of banks and corporates.He has a strong belief that unemployment issue in India could be significantly solved through education.He loves playing table tennis. In 2020, he participated in table tennis tournament organized by IIM Trichy & won 1st position.
