As a Qlik Replicate Admin and Developer I worked extensively on creating tasks for replication from multiple sources and target endpoints. Configured 1200+ CDC and full load tasks for endpoints like SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2zos, IBM DB2 LUW, IBM iSeries, MSSQL, ODBC with CDC, Amazon RDS for SQL server, Aurora PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Big Query, PostgreSQL, S3, Salesforce, Google BigQuery, Azure Databricks. Managing 20 replicate servers (both on prem and cloud servers) and 3 Qlik Enterprise Managers for monitoring purposes. Extensively worked on creating the alerts on QEM and through Python API calling scripts. Used Python scripts to make the API calls for the monitoring & alerting and generated the reports related to new tasks created each week. Involved in debugging of the replication issues and closely worked with the Qlik vendors on the cases. Quick response to the user for any replication issues and resolving within the SLA. Worked on the upgrade of the replicate servers and creating the new cloud instances. Participated in disaster recovery activities and patching activities. Extensively worked on the Severity 1 incidents and High Priority Qlik cases. Integrated QEM with Okta for security and Dynatrace for monitoring and service now incidents creation. Strong knowledge of databases like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Teradata both as a developer and DBA. Configure and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures in SQL Server using Always on Availability groups, Database Mirroring, and Replication. Trouble shooting and resolving blocking issues, dead locks, performance issues, connectivity issues, mirroring issues, Replication issues, and database security & integrity issues in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
