About Surbhi Thole

A Data Enthusiast who always tries to learn more about Big Data technologies and deep dive in it. To gain some experience, I enrolled in a Data Engineering course at Udacity. Through various projects, I got hands-on experience of building scalable ETL data pipelines, Big data warehouses, Data Modeling and Schema Designing using SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Redshift, SparkSQL, postgreSQL and Cassandra. During my time as a Data Engineer at New York University, I built Data Pipelines using Salesforce query language, Python (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit Learn), SQL and REST API which integrates data from Mailchimp and Salesforce. Further the data was used by other departments in the school to make insightful decisions about Admissions, Careers, Events etc. Currently I am working as a Software Engineer at The MathWorks. Here, I work on Object Oriented features of the MATLAB programming language using C++ and MATLAB.My key strengths are- I am constantly learning and pushing myself to be better- I am a Team Player- I put the customer at the center of all that I do.Languages: Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit Learn, Matplotlib), C++, JavaBig Data technologies: Spark, SparkSQL, Airflow, Hadoop, Map-reduce, Cassandra, Hive.AWS services: Redshift, Amazon EMR, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, Lex, EC2.
