About Suraj R.
As a J.D. candidate at the University of Virginia School of Law, I am passionate about promoting fairness in the public and private sector through the law. I hope to work at the intersection of public policy, ethics, and business to restore popular trust in markets and our governing institutions.Prior to attending law school, I obtained a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University\'s Maxwell School, where I was awarded a Presidential Management Fellowship. Subsequently, I worked as a Risk Consultant at Grant Thornton\'s (subsequently Guidehouse) public sector consulting division, in the Washington D.C. area. I also am passionate about fostering an understanding of global relations. As a first-generation immigrant from Singapore, I spent most of my formative childhood years immersed in the cultures of Southeast Asia. I additionally pursued a Fulbright Fellowship in Taiwan, where I served as an English Teaching Assistant in Kinmen County. Let\'s connect!
