Has over 19 years of experience in various fields of the power sector, including renewable energy, thermal projects, power distribution, transmission, coal blocks, etc.A seasoned professional with a proven track record of identifying, conceptualizing, and structuring a variety of energy projects by exploring potential business avenues, thereby driving business growth and revenue.Has over 12 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, managing 1 GWp+ projects across business development and project development.Liaising and dealing with central/state governments, nodal agencies, PSUs, regulatory bodies, power utilities, and Indian & international companies to facilitate the development of existing projects and explore opportunities for new projects.Kick-started the renewable energy business of Aditya Birla Group in 2016 after the company partnered with PE firm ABRAAJ, securing 60 MW in Karnataka. Since then, has won projects totaling ~1,400 MWp, achieving a 9.5x portfolio growth in six years in the utility-scale segment, resulting in ABReL reaching 2.1 GWp+ in 2023.Led the joint venture between ACME Group and EDF Energies Nouvelles (the renewable energy arm of the state-run French utility Électricité de France) for the solar business, expanding its presence in southern India and select states in the north and northeast.
