Managed 80 production and warehouse employees across 4 departments, Liquid Compounding, Powder Compounding, Pre-Weigh and Pan Pressing- Restructured the organizational structure with changes to leadership. Updated the job description for all levels of the organization to set expectations and drive accountability - Implemented the HPWT structure in the pan pressing department, increasing employee capabilities and reducing changeover times by 50%- Developed a compounder training and testing program and certified all the compounders. Identified potential internal candidates for compounders and have 5 new compounders certified - Developed detailed performance KPI’s such as RFT, batch time measurement, batch adjustment performance, GDP, rework pareto, for both compounding teams with biweekly meetings to review the metrics and create actions for improvement, reducing batching time by 29.6%- Created an internal safety committee for all my departments that focuses on Safety and GMP with weekly walk throughs for each department resulting in 1 safety incident in 2022 down from 9 in 2021 - Reduced the virtual inventory levels in the production departments by 93% ensuring that inventory was accurate, and visibility was increased by making process improvements tailored to each department - Trained the teams on the RCCM process ensuring that the NCR’s and CAPA’s are completed in a timely manner with a log tracking the progress, ensuring that the same non conformances do not occur - Leading the procurement of 3 batch production kettles to accommodate OTC products based on changes in demand. This included the design, product analysis, RFQ, vendor selection, installation and implementation
