MPM Inc. erstwhile GE’s Advanced Materials business is the second-largest producer of Silicones in the world. The Group serves more than 5,500 customers in over 100 countries. Key customers include P&G, 3M, Goodyear, Unilever, L’Oréal, BASF, The Home Depot, and Lowe\'s As Global Finance Services Leader, I spearhead the growth of the Finance SSC in Bangalore, currently employing over 50 professionals. I oversee end-to-end support across key functional areas—Controllership including External Reporting & ICFR/K-SOX, Financial Planning & Analysis for Corp & Business, Operations Finance and Costing COE, Treasury including Credit and Collections, Supply Chain Finance Support —driving process standardization, operational excellence, and strategic business partnering to support global finance operationsKey Achievements :• Established and managed 10 global finance and operational processes over 8+ years, supporting 5 functional areas across North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and India.• Collaborated effectively with Global Leadership, Regional, and IT teams to drive cross-functional results and ensure process alignment.• Delivered continuous improvement (CI) and Kaizen initiatives, saving over man-hours and generating cost savings exceeding $100K since 2017.• Led a high-performing team of 38 professionals to consistently exceed KPI targets through the design and management of a comprehensive KPI dashboard.• Developed and executed a strategic roadmap for skill enhancement, successfully transitioning 39 additional tasks and 9 complex activities to the Shared Services Center in Bangalore.• Enhanced employee engagement for 30+ team members by partnering with HR and leadership to implement tailored development plans and career roadmaps using CRM tools.• Conceptualized and launched 4 innovative initiatives to foster peer involvement and knowledge sharing, including MPM Sports Club, Quick Bite sessions, MAD (Make a Difference), and the Quality Team
