I am currently working as an Underwriting Assistant, providing support to onshore Underwriters for the U.S. region. My responsibilities include following up with brokers for the required documents to issue policies. As an Underwriting Assistant, I issue binders and policies to brokers and insured parties.I also prepare renewal preparation maps and send cancellation notices to brokers and insured parties if a policy is canceled by the Underwriter. Additionally, I coordinate with a third-party company to conduct insurance inspections at the insured premises in order to facilitate policy issuance.Furthermore, I request loss run reports for previous years’ insurance from brokers and retrieve necessary data from our end. I also forward endorsements and other requests to the respective teams to ensure timely processing.
