   Data Engineering – Creating complex data workflows through Python which include input data pipelines (Redshift, JFORS, CSV’s etc.) mapping units, logic units and output units with the objective to transform raw data into relevant business reports on Tableau & Excel. 2.Data Analytics – Performing data analysis using Python to help risk modeling team in setting up ALM strategies Analyzing hedge ratios, option budgeting, return calculations on the policy holder portfolio, estimating reserves on different shock scenarios, maturing/matured account value for different products. Data Science – Predicting mortality rate % and other assumptions for life insurance products which help in estimating reserving cash flows. The process includes data preparation (feature selection using LASSO, tree based and correlation), Hyper parameter tuning, Model creation (Neural Networks (Keras,Tensorflow),XGBM) and Model Validation using ROC curve, C-index and Evaluation Metrics. Development – Built actuarial models and algorithms in Python using Lifelib, Pandas, Numpy, Modelx libraries. Thus, replacing the use of legacy software like AFM, MG ALFA. It helped in saving substantial amount of money for the organization. Automation – Automated 90% of the manual repetitive analysis and tasks done by actuarial teams using Python. Improving the operational efficiency by 10X and using the time to analyze them myself and help actuarial teams.
