As a Principal Scientist I at Schrödinger, I work on developing an Auto ML library for ADME properties, which are crucial for drug discovery and development. I apply my knowledge and skills in machine learning, deep learning, and python programming to create and optimize models that can predict the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of potential drug candidates.Before joining Schrödinger, I was a Machine Learning Engineer at GV20 Therapeutics LLC, where I worked on AI-based drug design for cancer treatment. I implemented deep learning model architectures for cancer type classification and target evaluation, achieving high accuracy and correlation scores. I also improved the AI model performance by up to 40% using transfer learning and multitask learning techniques. I used AWS Sagemaker to train and optimize the model parameters with the hyperparameter optimization tool. I created a python package inclusive of various models from recent antibody-related studies.I have a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans, where I worked on several projects related to bioinformatics and machine learning, such as NASA risk forecasting and predictions, NASA patent and software classifier, protein-carbohydrate binding prediction, and protein-peptide binding prediction. I am passionate about my work and always keen to learn new technologies and methods to enhance my abilities and contribute to the advancement of science and medicine.
