About Surabhi Mohta
Extensive experience in in-depth analysis of financial statements and audit controls. Evaluating and improving business processes and working with internal audit, tax and valuations teams in implementing them.I started working as a Staff Accountant (Intern) with KPMG, India in the audit assurance field where I worked in dynamic teams to ensure regulatory compliance for companies in various industries primarily in the manufacturing and consumer goods sector. I was also the team lead for the audit of various small and medium companies. I instantly fell in love with understanding and analyzing the various business processes and working on improving them.After receiving my Chartered Accountancy certificate, I went on work as a Senior with KPMG, where I headed the audit teams and achieved audit efficiencies for various multinational companies in the manufacturing, consumer goods and financial services sector. Working on multi-location clients were a huge part of my portfolio and hence collaboration with a diverse set of team members comes naturally to me.I also love dancing and have been professionally trained in Salsa, Hip-Hop and Indian Folk.
