ABOUT SURABHI KARANDIKAR

I see myself as an innovative wireless systems designer to contribute in the design of advanced wireless protocols and algorithms. I am a dedicated, result-oriented professional with an attitude of getting the job done.I am a Visvesvaraya National Institute Of Technology, VNIT alumni (B.Tech, Electronics and Communication). The 4 years of work experience before the commencement of Masters inculcated strong analytical, technical, innovative and leadership skills in me. I have handled number of individual and team projects which exposed me to wireless communications standards like 3GPP, etc.Having a Master of Engineering (with specialization in communications and computer engineering).I worked on upper and lower 6 GHz spectrum sharing project for cellular to co-exist with wifi/satellite. I was a part of next-G waveform simulation using MATLAB and Python framework. I assisted in documenting the TSDSI - 6G roadmap.I worked on the ns3 framework (C++) to design and analyse MAC Communication protocols.Worked on the srsRAN framework (C++), to test hands on the Air Interface (L1, L2, L3) of LTE-A (Rel. 10 onwards), and 5G-NR (Rel 15 onwards).Currently, expanding my knowledge and working on the PHYSICAL/MAC layer of LTE/ 5G/ Wi-Fi.
