Most people talking about AI in manufacturing have never run a shop floor.I have. Twenty five years. Foundry floors in Maharashtra. High KVA alternator lines. A flagship crawler programs in Iowa. COVID-period supply chain resilience across 35 global factories. A 600Cr P&L. Along the way: a USA patent, an Agile framework I built for a physical production environment, and a vision system proof-of-concept I ran at Dubuque Works before \"AI in manufacturing\" became a conference theme.Which is why, when I started exploring AI agentic workflows, I wasn\'t approaching it as technology for technology\'s sake. I was approaching it as someone who has personally felt every pain point these systems could solve.The production manager who loses hours to manual quality reporting. The supply chain lead who can\'t see supplier risk until it\'s already a line stoppage. The NPD program manager drowning in unstructured data across 20 concurrent programs.
